The 48 Core Dome Type Fiber Optic Splice Closure is commonly used in outdoor or harsh environments where fiber optic cables need protection and splices need to be securely housed. It helps ensure the continuity and reliability of the fiber optic network by safeguarding the critical connection points. The dome closure provides a robust and sealed housing that protects the fiber optic splices from environmental factors such as moisture, dust, temperature variations, and UV radiation. This protection prevents any damage or degradation of the splices, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The closure is designed to withstand temperature fluctuations, providing a stable operating environment for the splices. This helps to avoid thermal expansion or contraction that could potentially damage the fibers.
Scope of application
The scope of application is: aerial, underground, wall-mounting, duct-mounting and handhole- mounting. The ambient temperature ranges from –40℃ to +65℃.
