On 19 February 2016, China Telecom published a formal announcement on its public website regarding the bid-winning candidates for “China Telecom’s centralized procurement project of 2016 on supportive frame products of fixed networks” (effective for 3 days). By virtue of its strength, Shanghai Letel got its name selected among the successful candidates for all the 5 products for which it had submitted bidding offers. That is to say, among more than 50 manufacturers that had vied for the tender, Letel distinguished itself and made to the top 10 on all the 5 products. It is especially worth mentioning that Letel ranked No. 1 on Integrative Gather Frames, No. 2 on Network Cabinets and No.5 on Optical Cross Connect Cabinets respectively. This has been the best achievement since Letel started participating in China Telecom’s centralized procurement, which lays a solid foundation for its sustainable development during 2016-2017.
