For example:

In the 1:64 split ratio scenario, the Top-level FAT has one built-in 1:2+1:9 splitter. The 70% optical power of 1:2 PLC splitter occupied by the cascading port is used to cascade the another link Top-level FAT, and the 30% optical power is distributed to the output port to connect 1:9 splitter.

For 1:9 spliiter: 8 ports is output to local end users and 1port is cascade the next FAT which have 1:9 spliiter inside.

The last FAT has one built-in 1:8 even splitter, which is used to connect 8 local users.
